Cerebro provides keyword insights for e-commerce sellers who want to get their products seen on Amazon. I designed the MVP of a new feature for scaling sellers to easily analyze historical trends and identify opportunities for their products to be on Amazon’s top results.
Historical trend data are not currently available on the Helium 10 or competitor platform. These data must be manually collected and verified by the user. This is time consuming and expensive for users whose primary goal is to easily manage their Amazon business. Cerebro’s Historical Trend can provide high quality data over 24 months across products or keyword distribution in a few seconds. Only based on entering (up to 20) Amazon Product ID (ASIN).

Timeline &
Contribution
Over 2 months, I was responsible for the design direction of this feature including creating new UI components/patterns to the design system, leading user research, prototyping and writing copy. Investigating competitor tools in emerging markets identified areas of opportunity within the Helium 10 platform. I tried to make a product easy for the daily use of the main group of customers (scaling sellers growing their business on Amazon). I prepared a high quality interactive prototype build to test my hypothesis by leading user interviews.
Outcome
We built a solution that can be easy to understand by main users by creating a new interaction, which was added to the design system library, and quickly user testing concepts for feedback. The new feature was easy to navigate and digest by target user groups. I was able to illustrate the importance of usability testing to devs and business leaders by working with them to develop and test a solution which resulted in high engagement numbers measured by usage and high conversion metrics.
